Onuorah Nzekwu, the author of Eze goes to school died yesterday (April 21) at the age of 89. He passed on to eternal glory at his residence in Onitsha at about 4:30pm. He was the one time head of News Agency of Nigeria (NAN). Onourah Nzekwu credit:bettyabah May his soul rest in peace.

The champions league quarter finals played yesterday ended in a remarkable fashion. A flight from Port Harcourt to Lagos today turned into a nightmare for travellers. A lady today narrated her story of herself being aboard an Aero contractor flight travelling from Port Harcourt to Lagos that started smoking barely 20mins into the flight. She explained that one of the blades (engines) of the plane was burning and thick fumes covered the air in the plane. The pilot kept asking the passengers to keep calm while the plane was moving up and down. At this point the alarms and buzzers in the plane were triggered and every one was panicking as they screamed prayers in fear for their lives. The pilot was able to land the plane safely and had fire services emergency unit already on ground. Police in Celeveland have announced the death of Steve Stevens. The suspect in Cleveland, Ohio Facebook killings who killed a 72 years old man on saturday Read story here shot himself after a brief pursuit by the police. The police got a tip that his car was spotted at McDonald's parking lot. The driver on spotting the police drove off initiating a pursuit. The monster shot himself after he was stopped by the police. The police department are happy this has ended but went further to say "We would have preferred it not ended this way. Chelsea football club and club captain John Terry today jointly announced that he will no longer be at Stamford bridge next season. The defender who has been with the team for 22 years making 713 appearances has featured less this season but is a true club legend. He has through out his stay in Stamford bridge won 14 major honours including 4 league titles and a Champions league trophy. He also has scored 66 goals for the club. The club in a statement today wished him the very best of luck for the future. Ay live was a huge success yesterday, Ayo Makun seems to be getting it all right these days. Ay had ex BBN housemates on stage and Bisola as usual was very entertaining. According to the commision, operatives from its Lagos Zone found the cash during a sting operation.
